When Talbot-Lago launched its new model at the Paris Motor Show in 1937, the public was almost breathless. On the basis of the T150 SS (for Speciale Sport), the coachbuilders at Figoni & Falaschi created a beautiful coupé that seemed incredibly modern. Soon the elegant vehicle in the Art Deco style would be called “goutte d’eau” in France or “teardrop coupé”; in the USA, where the car was presented next. To this day, the Talbot Lago has lost none of its fascination and wins awards worldwide at Concours d’Elegance.
