Built in 1941 for William Murphy of Newcastle upon Tyne. Worked with sister engine William IV for many years with Murphy's scenic rides. In latter years starred in the film Iron Maiden as Dreadnought, the Admirals engine. She was battleship grey in the film. Totally rebuilt over three years by present owner Steve Cox, West Sussex.
